Lord of the Rings Card Game

Hello,

It’s my brother’s birthday coming up soon and he is a massive Lord of the Rings fan. We both are in fact - our dad used to read the books out to us when we were younger and he really got us inspired, doing voices for the different characters and whatnot. We both loved the films, even the animated one that came out ages ago and buy LotR related computer games when we can. Anyway, for my bro’s birthday I did a bit of research and am thinking of buying the Lord of the Rings Card game for him - http://www.australia.for-sale.com/lo...ings-card-game.

Has anyone played it? He loves Magic the Gathering, so I think he would probably like this, but I don’t know too much about the game. Does anyone know how the Lord of the Rings game compares to Magic the Gathering? Is there collection and trading in it? Or is it more of a straightforward card game?

Sorry, no, I haven't played it. I didn't even know there were LoTR card games. But maybe someone else can help you.
