Raptor Red

Has anyone read this great book? I have it, and I think that it is definately one of the best (along with LOTR) books I have ever read.
All of the reviews that I have seen about this book either say that it plain-sucks, or that it's an extremely well-written piece of literature. There are very few in-betweens.
Although some have argued that this books sucks because it "has no plot" and is about a creature "no smarter than a house cat", I'll argue that perhaps the plot wasn't so apperent because this book is basically a life-story of an Utahraptor. Life doesn't really have a plot. And house cats are considered fairly smart as far as most animals go.

So... has anyone read this book and would like to express what they think of it?

Re: Raptor Red

Yeah, I've read it, and I really liked it! I loved how it seemed to be thought the way a creature which was intelligent, but not on the level of a human would think. It got a lot of little details exactly right, as far as I have learned about the topic.
