I noticed Disney did a little feature on it...the beavers look fairly well done. And the centaur was awesome, as was the battle scene. At least, that's what it looked like. I'm thinking it's gonna rock!!!
But what does everyone think about the White Witch? Does she seem intimidating? I personally think the old live action did a great job with her. ("Can I have more Turkish Delight, your Majesty?" "NOOOO!!!!")

I've only seen the trailer once, but it looks like its going to be awsome! I'll have to see the movie before I can tell if Jadis is intimidating or not. We'll see.

I saw the trailer for the first time today. They were really going for that overblown, huge orchestral score LOTR thing, so I hope they calm it down a bit for the actual film... But I loved the line "In this house there are many rooms" etc. - I think Lewis would have liked that.

I have a friend that saw it on Thursday (he works for a company that places movies in theaters). I need to give him a call and ask him about it. I'll report back here when I find out

Hey, how is the Inspired By CD? Very interesting mix...wish it had Switchfoot on it though. (and a little Relient K wouldn't hurt)

I talked to my friend last night, and he was really impressed with the movie. Someone had asked about the witch, and I asked him - he thought she was pretty creepy - "not someone you'd want to snuggle up with!" he said .

For the "non-religious" types out there - he had a friend who is not religious at all, and who was afraid he'd be hit over the head with the religion, but he said he didn't feel that way at all - it was very neutral-feeling to him. Anyway, the few people that I know have seen it liked it a lot - yay!

I saw the soundtrack in a store today! I didn't buy it, because I want to see the movie first but it looked good.

I thought this was really cool:

Church gives away Narnia tickets

Especially considering how expensive cinema tickets are these days!

He works in the theater industry. He is in charge of placing movies at Regal Theaters in Southern California, and he often gets to go to advance screenings.
