Just read the details that go with the track listings:

Bottom of track 12's description: correlating to what the liner notes call a "tragic elvish moment at the Battle of Helm's Deep". Hmm. Nothing like that in the book. Not even going to guess. Haldir - DIE! That'll teach you to leave the plotline of the book I'm guessing, by the way, but it seems fairly obvious. Unless, in the biggest plot twist ever, Arwen dies

After Frodo and Sam are taken in by Faramir and the soldiers of Gondor, we come to one of my favorite locations in all of the books: the waterfall hideout of Osgiliath. There, Frodo bargains with Faramir not to kill a trespassing Gollum, who is merely hungry and hunting for fish.

Since when was the hidden pool in bloody Osgiliath? AARRGHHHHH!

Yeah, I did a bit more rooting out of info.

Seems Faramir the gimp takes Frodo & Co to Ithilien retreat, then decides to take them to Minas Tirith - getting as far as Osgiliath when for some reason he changes his mind.

A thought has just occurred to me - maybe once in Osgiliath he sees Boromir in the elven boat bobbing along the Anduin, and believes Frodo (dunno why he wouldn't in first place, but if he did he certainly wouldn't be taking him to Minas Tirith) and lets him go there.

Still, less annoying than Aragorn nearly dying in the Warg raid and presumably only Arwen can save him. Life's a bitch, eh?

There are pictures that show

Frodo recoiling with the Ring while Faramir watches . . it seems that this is the moment that Faramir realizes he cannot 'take' the Ring. As far as Aragorn and Arwen go . . Arwen will have a troubling 'dream' or vision that Aragorn is dying . . she will plead with Elrond to send 'help' to HD. Meanwhile Theodred's horse, Brego returns but is so battle weary that Aragorn urges that the horse be set free. Aragorn goes out to scout and encounters Warg Riders. He becomes separated from his companions. In the fight he is wounded. His companions depart believing that Aragorn is dead. Aragorn will find Brego, or Brego will find Aragorn and the two will bond. There are pictures and spy reports of Aragorn and Brego lying in the mud on the river bank.

So, Arwen has little to do with 'rescuing' Aragorn during this part of the Two Towers.

I do expect this movie to be different than the book. It doesn't bother me, and I'm quite looking forward to it. I suppose my positive attitude comes from the fact that I've spent over 30 years waiting for a 'decent' adaptation of these books. The one prior attempt at an adaptation was Ralph Bakshi's Lord of the Rings . . I can't even begin to tell you what a theatrical disaster that was . . people stayed away in droves . . so many that Bakshi never even got to finish his movie . . uk. Anyway, once you have the perspective of years and years and years of waiting . . PJ's adaptation doesn't seem so bad.

So, Arwen has little to do with 'rescuing' Aragorn during this part of the Two Towers.

All depends on how badly wounded Aragorn is. My 'saving' thingy was more a 'healing' suggestion than a 'rescues from the thick of battle' type deal.
Whcih would be a shame, because, as we all know, Arwen is best seen in the front of combat :/

Rescuing him from battle would give her a chance for her famous 'come and claim him' line. Maybe she says this once per film?
