Sane thought for a moment, then recanted, "Though, I suppose having your arse turn to stone might ward that problem off, if you do manage to time it correctly."

"Oops! Fredrico! Turn around! Wrong way!" said Sas as Sis alerted them of they're direction mishap, and with that Fredrico halted in his tracks, turned around, and started running once more. This time,in the right direction.

Nautipus reigned in Farhan, and turned to look back at the others, then shouted ahead, "HEY GUYS! I THINK WE'RE GOING THE WRONG WAY!" hearing a distant response he cried "BECAUSE THAT'S WHAT SIS SAID!", another distant reply, then "WELL I REALLY DONT CARE HOW YOU FEEL ABOUT HER, BUT SHE'S PROBABLY RIGHT!", asnd with that he turned and galloped back down the trail.

Sane and her horse stood next to Sis and Hector, as the assorted People of the Hunt reassembled infront of them, asking for the correct directions, all looking rather sheepish about it.

"So Sis, since you are our navigator, lay it out for us. The further away from Mirkwood, the better." Sane and her Banditos had more then enough of elvish arrows hurled their way.

"Look. Here's the map" Sis laid out a map in front of them. "The path through Mirkwood goes this way. Everyone knows that's trouble. But if we take this route...along the new path and then up through the hills behind the Teacup, we should be able to reach a trail that runs up to the mountains. It's kind of wildlands for the first bit, but the later part is a King's route, and should be wide enough for most of the trip. It's good too, because that's where some of the other ingredients are more likely to be.That first stage will be slow, though, for all these big warhorses and trolls. It won't be hard for latecomers to catch us, that's a benefit, I guess."

"Let me get my kit together. I'd suffer more worrying about you than anything a mountain could do to me."

"Sas, I think we might be sending a smaller contingent to Moria. Some of the instructions for this remedy are a bit obscure (as they usually are) but evidence in the text suggests Dwarven magic. In my experience, that means a trip to Moria. That'll be a few days down the trail, though, you can start with us."
