Sorry, Serenoli, I haven't realized I was holding you back. I thought there was very little for the Chancellor to do, but to send Jas to bed.

Say what? What does Shah and Mahta have to do with the commerce? And how would Mahtaliel know that Jas was sick? Meh, whatever.

As for Ray and Viv, well, a few minutes late either way wont hurt. And she is comming to the commerce class to meet up with Ray, so post what you want.

You should've said so. We thought our characters were free for the evening.

Mahtaliel will be glad to visit Jas tomorrow, it's true she hasn't heard that he's ill yet.

For the Chancellor, you could write the scene and set it sometime in mid-afternoon. Or you could have the Chancellor be annoyed that he's missed her. Or you could have him send the person summoning her out into the town to find her. Whichever you prefer.

And the book problem is very nearly solved. TD just needs to make his edits. As for who has it, I believe either Rian got it back or Khamul kept it but it was a different, less personal book.

Yes, unlike just about every one else in the game, these two arent telepathic and dont know exactly whats going on with everyone else (Though that is questionable, as Shah is head of what military forces Tharbad has, and Mahta is one smart Lady.)

Just write the reprimand scene in the mid afternoon.

But don't you think that describing the evening of your uneventful day early on, you sort of rob your characters of possible interaction with the others?

Funny you would mention this just as I finished my first post in the last month or so. Glad to know I was missed. But I don't think Valandil will be hearing Eärniel practise, for obvious reasons! Could be one of her un-named class mates, though.

Gordis, I hope you don't mind Eärniel's view on the ship models. I thought it'd be fun to contrast.

Anyhows, i'm kinda oblivious to whats going on in commerse. Is there to be a big hootananny about something? Must Raendil and Marthalion come to their king's aid, valiently swinging sticks at the over friendly females?

Quite the contrary. I wrote that as set up for Captain Shah's entrance, which was an interaction that Sane and I were planning and very much looking forward to. Now our characters are out and about in the town having some quality drinking time and open for all sorts of eventful interactions.

And I would hardly call her day uneventful.

And neither will Shah's. Mess with Mahta and you mess with all of her buddies. I dont think there is a person in Tharbad for whom she hasnt done favors and helped!
