Wigs??? You've got to tell, Nurv!
Quite allright. It's rather a chore to write long passages from the book. So you're skipping ahead was really acceptable.

Moria could be a subway, which in Balin's day, worked perfectly. Now it is broken down, which could be part of our troubles in Moria. We have to walk through the tunnels and choose the right one.

Also, we could include "mithril" (make up our own equivelant) mining in the story.

Should we somehow undo the clean lift? Or I could edit my post, and write the whole battle with the Wigs. I'd make it contigous with the one that follows.

But I'm still confused about the weapons.
Didn't we decide that Narsil was a Power-drill which now have been remade.

The Battle with the wigs could occur just as they are about to enter Moria.

As for the equivalent of Mithril it could be subway artwork.

Delving for the beautiful murals and graffiti? *ponders* Hm... pretty cool. The tags for which the Dwarves are famous.

Hey, battles can always be inserted in dramatic flashback . . . much to everyone's contention when retold by rambling Gandalf. "So there we where surrounded by Orcs numbering unto the stars when I remembered I'd forgoten to drink my "Muscle-Juice for Men" alixar that morning . . ."

I like the idea that Gandalf keeps trying to tell everyone stories about stuff they had just done and everyone had been involved with and remember quite well without his telling. Pointless drival from a "touched in the head" wizard, if you will.

Yeah, I like how the story is taking shape. I'm glad you guys joined up Chrys and EB, because the 'new blood' has given our story a little extra zip. Now we have 5 regular posters! Now, to corrupt Rosie Gamgee...

Ideas for Lorien.
Lembas: Hovis
Mirror of Galadriel: Number 8 ball (y'know the one you shake and it tells you stuff)

Oh and wasn't mithril bulletproof armour?

Thanks Wolf, I'm having alot of fun. I'll be back Monday to post anew. Three day weekend here for me so I'll be leaving in a couple of hours.

Note to Nurv: I'm reading After the End.....I'm soooo hooked! Thanks for the suggestion.

BTW I thought the "Keebler" reference Gimli makes is HILARIOUS!!

Yes, of course, the Mithril Body Armour of Frodo's. And the color-elements and the Mithril, caused them to dig too deep and awakened the Nameless Fear.

What do you think of the lembas and Mirror ideas?

I love your mirror idea, that's awesome!

I don't know what hovis is, but it sounds fine to me.

Oooh, we should have done something for Miruvor (maybe it's not too late??). It could be RedBull! (an energy drink), or Gainomax Recovery (a protein shake people drink after the gym).

I've posted that Gandalf had been supplied with Energy in Rivendell. But he could of course have a supply of Red Bull and Gainomax Recovery as well to alternate between.

Nurv, Hovis is a type of bread, I didn't know we only got it in Britain. Maybe we could have crossiants or something instead.

Meh, no worries.

Hey Telcontar, hovis sounds cool. What's it like, for game purposes. Hard? Soft? Savoury? Sweet? Raisins in? etc.

I'm confused about Lembas though. I thought it was going to come from Lorien? Plus, it's just a personal mini-pet peeve of mine that all elves have lembas in fanfictions. I know you don't think that Grey Wolf, but maybe we shouldn't include it in the story.
