Having posted the crucial post prior to the immediate departure of the Company I think I've done rather well, don't you?

Hey, how are they going to destroy the Package?

It could be... 1. Merry's comment about the Garbage Compactor of Doom could actually be right
or 2. there could be something like the Mailbox of Doom from whence it was posted. Except that doesn't make sense...

Or... we could reveal what is actually IN the package later. what ever that thing is (the Ryng?) could be destroyed in a fitting way.

Well, since we quite some way to go before we actually decide upon the mode of destruction either of the suggestions of TD and you will do.

Have now added yet another travelling post in the Homies. Hope you don't mind me using the book so much, TD, and that I actually posted similar to you.

No it isn't silly. Things can be added which isn't in the books just as long we keep it fairly in alignment with them. See my latest post and you can see how to make up what happens and add pieces of the book at the same time.

Okee Dokee, I posted in the RPG, and I have NOTHING but silliness to offer. If projectile vomiting offends you then you need to get "sloppy drunk" as The Pip is oft to say and relax, amigos. After all, this was my first venture into a RPG, ever ever ever.

While I did not utilize modern references for the most part, I think the e'clair was quite an important inclusion.

Mooter-Fun is BEST!!!!

No worries. We're basically writing a modern, and hopefully humorous story parallel to LOTR. Now, your last post was great Chrys, but we are loosely following the events of FOTR at the moment... so... erm...

Quite all right since this is the Lyrd where poetic licence has been made into an artform.

True that GW. Okay sorry Chrys, I misunderstood your post.

Maybe we should do some Aragorn being aprehensive about the subway before we go in?

I have now posted two long posts which come up to the point where the Homies will soon be attacked by German Shephard Dogs.

Rats. After reading Wolf's posts I think I understand that you're trying to stay a bit more somber in comparison to my silly posts. I apoligize for my corruptable insertations and will withhold future "gross & giddy" posts that would only distract and bemuse. Thanks for not smashing me for my intrusion, you all rock! I love mooters. So kind, so gentle, so less apt to forget you after they take over the world . . . sigh

Au contraire mon ami, the only rule we have in the RPG is loosely (very loosely) following the plot of the book so that it's somewhat recognizable. Then our funny modern version of LOTR makes a bit of sense.

That's what I thought anyway... erm... GW?

In my last post I was going to post about Aragorn loosening his sword in his sheath with a gleeful look in his eye, but I forgot what we decided he was armed with. What about a Walther PPK? (That's James Bond's gun.)
Did we do a shards of Narsil being reforged thing?

If we didn't I have an idea:
Aragorn brings out a fully functional Narsil (now Anduril) when battling the Wigs, and after the battle, Boromir or someone comments that it is now magically whole. Gandalf could be suspicious of plot holes. One of the Hobbits says they feel all 'rotoscope-y'. A tribute to Bakshi's LOTR.

And if we did... what is it?

Maybe we should decide all the weapons and/or repost what we decided...

Well . . . I couldn't help myself, I had to post again. Thanks Nurv. Hope Wolf is "OK" with my posts. It's a lot of fun, though.

Wigs??? You've got to tell, Nurv!

I was going to tell in the battle with the Wargs (from the book), but now we seemed to have a PJ-style clean lift to the gates.

The Wigs are a biker gang that are often in cahoots with the ORC union. What do you think?

Moria could be a subway, which in Balin's day, worked perfectly. Now it is broken down, which could be part of our troubles in Moria. We have to walk through the tunnels and choose the right one.

Also, we could include "mithril" (make up our own equivelant) mining in the story.

Should we somehow undo the clean lift? Or I could edit my post, and write the whole battle with the Wigs. I'd make it contigous with the one that follows.

But I'm still confused about the weapons.
