He gave a good performance, did he not?

That too was agreed with Orithil long ago. I thought it too good to never come up and writing this scene helped me solve a bit of a plotting problem I ran into earlier.

Wow, that was hard, having to balance the aims of

- keeping Tabrîl in-character
- not wrecking the plot

I think you did it very well, Aika. I find it believable that Tabril would obey the wizard's commands, as reluctantly as that.

And that she wouldn't mix her weapons with the others. She keeps her dignity

I was counting on the fact that Radagast's high status in Tabrîl's culture would have been enough for her to follow his orders.

No need to apologize! Sometimes difficult is good.

And you're right, that just about tipped the balance in Radagast's favour. It's a big sacrifice on Tabrîl's part, though, because of the symbolic importance of those knives of hers.

I can't wait to see what Radagast is actually planning.

It's about three years since it all started, and now you're almost there! I have been keeping up with the story here and there since I last posted, in fact, kept up with it a bit more since I've not been posting. It looks like you'd have a lot of support for some sort of continuation, if there was to be any. Not that I'm asking whether there will be or not. I want to be surprised.
