As to personal outrage at Dumbledore being gay, I don't think it's very fair to threaten to "kill her" for making a rather smart move on a series of works that belong to her. I was not too surprised by this move on JK's part. She has always tended to highlight unpleasantries of our society in her novels (eg: racism in the form of "mudbloods") and making such a loved character gay was a very brave step towards equality. I think she deserves applause, not contempt.
