Gates of fire - by Steven Pressfield

My all-time favorite book because it was so damn good!!!! Has anyone else read it? It's going to be turned into a movie with George Cloony and Bruce Willis. However, I think that in order to do the Battle of Thermopylae justice it will have to be ultra-gory and get a R rating if not an NC-17 just for violence. Anyone who's read the book will understand what I mean. In order to keep fighting the soldiers walked on bodies since there was no ground that was left showing. Bloody, violent, discriptive and a great book. Opinions?
