The Great Three?

Ok, here it goes...one of those subjective, meandering debates

It goes like this: the three greats of classical music (The Immortals, as they are often referred to) are Bach, Mozart and Beethoven.

The Three Rock Bands are The Beatles, The Rolling Stones, and The Beach Boys (ok ok, already I feel the rocks being thrown

)

So...are the Three Great Fantasy/Sci-Fi Movie Franchises are what?

LotR/StarWars/Harry Potter?

or X-Men? Spidey?

For classical, I'd say Bach, Mozart and Chopin.

Rock bands, The Beatles, Pink Floyd, Led Zeppelin.

Fantasy/Sci-Fi Movie Franchises, Star Wars, LotR, Harry Potter. (we agree

I agree with LOTR and then StarWars, but I dought that Harry potters going to stick around (At least I hope not)

I can't think of a better third though, so I guess I'll agree

Contemporary: Lou Reed, Bob Dylan, David Bowie
Rock Bands: The Beatles, Pink Floyd, Led Zep
Movie Franchises: Star Wars, Indiana Jones (what? it's kinda fantasy), Terminator
Computer games (PC): Tomb raider series, Doom/Quake FPSs, Resident Evil
Console games: Super Mario, Final Fantasy, Grand Theft Auto

Rock Bands: The Beatles, The Rolling Stones, and the BeeGees. Beach Boys don't belong there.

Fantasy/Sci-Fi Movie Franchises: LotR, Star Wars, and Hellboy. And yes it is a franchise

On the ones that other Mooters have come up with:

Console games: Resident Evil, LotR and Need for Speed.
I can't say anything about the Computer games seeing I don't play any.
