A Fellowship like no other?

Hey hey this is well an rpg duh! lol yeah well i wanna start one but i'm gunna need some help u know and ppl to play characters that is the ppl who want to. Yep yep yep lol this fellowship is going to consist of some cool girl ppl too (like me!lol) unlike the real book cause it has no girls! hey its swell to have guys really swell but not to have girls i mean come on! yeah anyways there's gunna have to be quite a few ppl. Like we'll need a Legolas, Merry, Pippin, Sam, Gandalf, Aaragon, orcs/goblins, etc... Yeah and any made up characters are good to like see i'm gunna be this Elf girl that's part of the fellowship yep! lol see i already called it lol. Yeah lol it'd be great if someone joined that can speak elvish cause i can only read and write it. lol yeah well it'd be nice to have ya thanks, You can e-mail me at elvishfaerie3088@aol.com hope to get responses!

Now, I have a question. If people join this RPG will they be able to make up their own characters or are they going to have to play Legolas, Aragorn, etc? Just asking...

Hey, no u don't have to be a girl to join lol i was just sick of it all being only guys in the real movie it drove me nuts! Anyone who wants to join can and yes u can make up your own character and be who ever you would like to be! unless that character is already taken. Sicirus yes u can join who would u like to be though? Varda Oiolosseo yeah u can be an elf with me and be in the fellowship we'll totaly have to teach them how to kick the orcs ass' in! Zavron sorry if i confused u this is just and rpg that has girls in the fellowship and guys! it'll be cool but u'll have to join to find that out now won't u? lol sorry about being so excited in all i was just in a really good mood (if that ever happens again u'll be blessed, hahaha) Yeah well i'll keep posting as much as i can and i'll try to refer to everyone's questions and answer them yeah well this'll be cool

I have never tried to be a hobbit yet so thats what I will be.

name:Gil-Lorien. (I can't think of an odd but decent flower name right now. So if I change it I will tell you.
gender: Female
race: hobbit
appearence: short(duh

short curly dark brown hair. blue eyes. boyish looking for those who are not fermilier with her.
bio: lives in the Shire but father likes to travel alot. She helps at the new bar they own called the Golden Reindeer. nickname Gil. Just moves into the shire from bree and loves to stay solo and have her own adventures. She especially likes to practice hobbit archery or sword fight for her amusement but to her parents disapproval.

I'm confused. Are you going to have all the members of the original Fellowship and THEN have extras? Or is this group taking the place of some/all of the original members?

Or is it the six originals mentioned in the first post, with Frodo, Gandalf, and Boromir being replaced?

Anyway, I'd like to join. And I'll be a human, the rarest race in these threads (perhaps tied with dwarves). But, I've got to duck out for a moment and think of a name, only one I've got stored up at the moment is Camellia, an' that's more of a hobbit name.

Yes well i've noticed a lot of people have been confused here's the deal or the scoop k there's the original character and then there's some other new people like myself and a few of u other ppl please when telling me what part u'd like and that please mention if u'd like to be in the fellowship not everyone will make it into the fellowship and i'm sorry for that but the sooner u sign up the better the chance u have and ppl i really really really need the main main characters please u know like FODO and ARAGON and LEGOLAS u know the main ppl!!!!!!!!!!!!!! make sure u tell me female male and what race please keep that all in mind thanks

I think I'll probably join in, but I have a question first.

So far, it doesn't look as if anyone's interested in being one of the classical characters, and personally, I'm not really either. So do you think it's an awfully bad idea to make it a nonclassic quest? In other words, have our collection of characters going off on some other mission, in a Middle Earth setting, but with differences in plot and destination? It would leave more freedom for the players, and I think make the game funner all 'round. Perhaps we could even invent a species or two, if someone wants to play as a different sort of creature.

Then we could face new opponents and go through new territories. What do you think?

I'm willing to go with it the other way, but I'd like to play a new character, also.

If we can play a different sort of creature can I have a pet that I invinted awhie ago. Its called Sycocy. See Mythecical(sp) creature thread for more deatails on him. he is really cool looking.

We also have to figure out how all tha characters meet and what theplot is. what the journey is and who starts it.

Perhaps our country is falling under the sway of some villain with magic. He's working behind the scenes and using his power to get control over the government. And we have to journey to the Barrow Downs to remove an elven magical item which is the only way this villain's spell can be broken.

That certainly racks up a bunch of enemies for us to deal with, and a very good goal with a strong reason behind us trying to accomplish it. Perhaps somebody whom one of us is playing, who is in the government, is the one that starts the whole quest by seeking out skilled and strong minded individuals to help him/her.

Anyway, there's one suggestion. There's room for further development, and if anyone has any better ideas, post them!
