You probably are right. but look at all that empty space in that 60-mile or so thick sphere. Not much mass, all added up. And I think that, inside, up is always in the direction of the Death Star's north pole, hence the way ships land in the docking bays along the main trench.

Good! We are teaming up with Kuat Drive Yards to build a new Super Star Destroyer, about eight times the size of the largest Super Star Destroyer yet. It will be the ultimate high-tech capital ship in it's class, with black leather seating and a luxurious enterior worthy of Rohirrim himself. It will not replace EDDIE, but it will serve as our base, large enough for the entire fleet to dock with, and it will be the weapon with which I will engulf any oppostition using it's Yuhzann Vong-borrowed tech, a giant Dovin Bassal projector capable of producing a black hole at a distance as to not destroy any of our ships.
And you are to be the head of the design team.

Will I get to utilize other mooters, robotic labor, and collaborative other-species Think-Tanks?

OF COURSE, who do you think we are some kind of penny ante rebellion? you will have the most sophisticated tools and software at your disposal, not to mention the unlimited fund of the intergalactic bank. We are also developing hi-tech duck tape that repairs itself, and, possibly bailing twine that can act as a fiber optic.

It is time to start the revoloution.
Rohirrim, is your super-gravity projector ready? We must install it on the Star Destroyer, I Can't Beleive That's Not The Small Star Destroyer I Saw From 300 Kilometers Away. It's the biggest ship yet, next to the Death Stars and the Star Forge (what do all these names have in common? ).
