I have got to redownload that program. I'm not a proper member of the team at the moment.

Long urls make it hard to keep your signature under 500 characters. Try tinyurl.com to shorten them, if you need.

Although the word counting function may not be present in this site, you can type your signature in MS Word or a similar word processor and use its character counter for your purposes.

I figured this was the place to ask. How do you get a signature? I thought it might come with a post count or something like that, but I have seen people with fewer posts than me with them.

Go to the top of the page, look at the box with all the menus, on the left on the green bar there's one called 'user CP'. Click on that, and then go to the long, small box on the left that is called 'control panel'. One of the first things you come across is 'edit signature'. That's the one you need.
