Happy Birthday Xanthyz

I just added him to my ICQ list and the first thing I got was a birthday notification!

Happy Birthday to Lord Xanthyz, who apparently turns 16 today .

I ignored my sixteenth birthday.

My age is measured in yards, dollars, and bytes.

Re: Thanks=)

Buy the Peoples of Middle-earth (HoM-e Vol. XII) if you get a chance. I've read The Shibboleth of FĂ«anor many times, very fascinating. Middle-earth itself is linguistically inspired, but this writing is especially so, though I expext one may read it without any such interest and enjoy the 'story' end of it, as long as you know who you're reading about. But I don't know. I may be a bad judge, I've found out recently many here and elsewhere find the Silmarillion to be boring, so perhaps those many people wouldn't like The Shibboleth.

I think I'm especially attracted to it because of my recently found love of Quenya, and the life of the Calaquendi in the Starlight Ages, but I don't think I was when I first read it, so that may have been the pebble that started the avalanche, so to speak.
