Cubicle 7 to make D&D compatible LOTR game

http://cubicle7.co.uk/dd-comes-to-middle-earth/

Cubicle 7 has a great game in " The One Ring" but it is a tad crunchy for my tastes, but it seems they will be making it D&D compatible.

About Eowyn,
Does anyone know what her alias Dernhelm means?

She was kown as dernhelm because of her exclaimation when she realized that the rider's headgear was heavy and obscured her sight.

'Dern Helm"

I saw that, too, but here.

Fifth edition D&D. I used to have a first edition box with the little poorly-printed booklets. Mostly, I played AD&D, and roll-to-hit was a massive pain:
[To Hit] = [by Level from class table]
± [defender AC adj (not all weapons adjust the same against the same armor: check different table)]
± [natural bonuses (STR, DEX)]
± [class to hit bonus (e,g,, paladin v evil, ranger v orcish, thief from behind, etc.]
± [weapon bonuses (usually +1, +2, etc; but some are cursed; some weapons work differently against certain opponents)]
± [magic bonuses (gauntlets, belts, etc].
Is it better now?

Where’ve you been hiding, a-e?
