J.D.Robb and murder mysteries

Anyone here ever read books by J.D.Robb or Nora Roberts? Nora Roberts is a romance novelist and J.D.Robb is her pseudonym, under which she writes murder mysteries. The series that she has written under J.D.Robb is the one in which all the titles end in "..in Death", such as "Naked in Death", "Witness in Death", "Glory in Death", etc. For those who haven't read any by J.D.Robb, they're wonderful. They're about a cop in the future named Eve Dallas, who is a homicide specialist and always has some convoluted mystery to unravel. They're really very good books. Any takers?

[later edit: you can discuss other authors of murder mysteries here too, such as Agatha Christie and Stephen King]

Taker. Eve dallas is the best. Summerset is a teddy bar. Remember when he called Roarke because she DIDN'T insult him on the way up the stairs. It always drives her crazy when someone says, "Roarke, you married a cop?!!!!!" She replied one time (If I remeber correctly) "Well I married a bloody criminal, why doesn't anyone ever think of that?"

in Betrayal In Death, i love how she just decks that moronic fed (Jacoby) that seems to have his head permanently stuck up his arse when he botches her job. and of course, Roarke is just the coolest.

Agatha Christie: i love And Then There Were None. it is sooo cool. anyone else read that one? the only Stephen King that i've read is Carrie. that was kinda creepy, but really good.

hmm, does TinuvielChild feel ignored? why yes, i believe she does! now she's going to go and have a nice long conversation with herself, before she becomes all morose and ruins this lovely good mood that she's in...*hint hint, wink wink, nudge nudge*.

Sorry for ignoring you. hated Jacoby. Think that somehow I managed to hate Ellen Bowers more.
