Galadriel would defenately beat Celeborn. She seems to have sooo much more power than him and hey, why couldn't a woman win?

Turin and Galadriel, respectively. The Hobbits would never fight.

How about Aragorn vs. Legolas?
Denethor vs. Theodred?
Barliman vs. Grima?

I'd bet on Aragorn, Denethor, and Barliman.

You know, Pippin mentions to Bergil in Minas Tirith that he's actually considered uncommonly large and strong back home and was a good wrestler.

Pippin vs. Merry...
Hmm...Pippin was a good wrestler and killed a troll.
But Merry helped defeat the witch king.
I really think it would be a draw, partially because they couldn't do much to each other, anyway!
How about Elrond vs. Galadriel?

I don't know then, because they are two of the greatest elves. Probably a draw there, too.

Fingolfin vs. Sauron

I'd say the high king.

About Eowyn,
Does anyone know what her alias Dernhelm means?

She was kown as dernhelm because of her exclaimation when she realized that the rider's headgear was heavy and obscured her sight.

I would win. This is because I'm much more of a geek than any of the aforementioned characters, and the only thing that counts in these sorts of "battles" is sheer geek matter.

Fredregar, not Fatty! Remember, at the end they said he was "Fatty no longer." Sorry...I don't know why I feel nit-picky today...but I do. That's my bet, too, by the way.
