Stawberryicecream did the first post i ever read. She was my favorite person on the moot. And i miss Arathorn and rosiecotton. I was really sad when i came back to the moot and they weren’t here anymore. i think they can be found on took talk, but i haven't been there in a really long time. I remember the "considering closing GM" thread where i made myself look like an idiot and yelled on entmoot for the first time. then i left, then come back. I miss EG a lot too. *sigh* Those where my good ol days. before i had even read the book now it's really embarrassing to say i'm what tater calls a "newbie" . I was such an idiot, rambling on about how much i love Tolkien in one thread then saying I’m in the second chap of TTT in another. .

Well, we have a new lot of newbies, and some "new" oldbies... so worth a bump, if only to swap grumpy old person stories.

You're not a newbie anymore Millane, you've been here for two years! So what if you're not a giant spammer, no worries. (And I'm not saying I'm a giant spammer so shhh! )

I miss Ruinel.

If Tater were here, you would still be a newbie in his eyes. Anyone that joined after the LotRs movies came out were considered newbies forever. Tater hated newbies.

My usual answer is: when they stop asking that.

Yes, newbies have it way easier now. We're all too loving and understanding for them.

I just came across a really old PM dating back to the Pink and Purple Day. Ye gods, how terribly gullible I was then...

I thought I saw her recently. Or was that Willow Oran? I hadn't seen her in ages either, then one day... bam!

Gwaimir I'm sure is kicking around somewhere... like the Eagles... only appearing when most needed.

Yeah, but with Tater that wouldn't count. You had to be registered before the Fellowship came out.

Quite some time ago. I decided to put it back to the real count. It's been many months ago.
