Hello! Seems it's been a while since you posted here too. What have you been up to all these long years?

I got home from work on Halloween in time for trick or treaters in my neighborhood and I got to pass out candy for the first time in probably ten years and I'm super happy about that. I also watched three different movie adaptations of Dracula which might have been a little much.

Well then, tomorrow I will have my first driving lesson.

I chickened out when I was 18 and and never got that license and as in the subsequent years as getting that license got more complicated and I could still do everything with bike, public transport and/or car pooling it just never happened.

Until everything of that went away due to COVID.

So... if I'm not back somewhere next week, uh- ah- avenge me on the nearest traffic sign? That should do it.

I cannot help you with that, I'm afraid - I'm member of a couple of Discord groups, and I don't even know to navigate.

Time for another Entmoot visit! I ought to come back soon, if nothing else, then to see whether there have been any new comments in the threads I posted in today.

I certainly have never thought about a Entmoot discord server. I think I only once joined a discord group, which was in nature only temporary, so my experience with it is very limited.

I haven't been on the FB for ages, but last time I looked it had inactive for many months.

Twenty years today ago I joined the Entmoot.

Now that the 1st is behind us, I can announce...

I'm due to become a grandpa later this month. My oldest son and his wife are expecting a little girl. She's due right about my son's 24th birthday.

The other two boys are both in college - a junior who is 21, and a freshman who is 19.

Life Update
In 2015 we moved from Chicago to Casper, Wy. My oldest went to college back in Illinois a year later. In 2019 we moved to Colorado Springs - our middle stayed behind to start a 2-year degree in Casper. Oldest got married October 2020, and they settled into a place in northern Illinois. Last year we moved back to Illinois - southern Illinois, where I'm from, and where my mom still lives. In-laws are in a Chicago suburb. And we're just 4 hours from the oldest son, instead of 16-18. My youngest started college where the oldest one went this past fall. The middle went to Colorado State to continue his studies (kind of following us, I think - but then we moved away).
