Thank you all for the welcomes (and the humour). To be honest, one of the draws of this board over a couple of others which I've also been a member of over the years (but which shall remain unnamed here) is that the members don't seem to rip each other to pieces at every minor difference of opinion, and don't seem to consider newbie-bashing a compulsory sport.
