Wer'e back and suddenly in an entirely new year!

Happy New Year All.

Apparently, according to the DiscWorld twitter, 2019 will be the Year of the Incontrovertible Skunk!

I can live with that.

Any plans, thoughts, goals or resolutions for the new year?

Me, I'm going ahead with my multi-year plan of decluttering this clogged-up house and... well, I ain't making a resolution out of it because I almost never manage to keep them but I want that driver license before I'm 40.

My oldest son and his girlfriend are visiting for Christmas Break - and just de-cluttered our kitchen late into the night! It looks great! Now I just have to find everything!

I'll get to other plans later. For now... "it's off to work I go!"

They come for the Christmas break and they de-clutter your kitchen in one go? You sure raised him right!

My big declutter-the-kitchen-moment of 2018 took me four bloody days and I still can't find where I put everything.

Haha. Have you guys heard of the swedish death-cleanse?

I'm into decluttering because as a mommy, full-time employee and homeowner, I barely have time to breathe. I discovered that when you have fewer THINGS, you have less to clean up. Less to clean up means less time spent cleaning. Less time spent cleaning means more time spent breathing (or more likely, sleeping. Plugh)...

No, I haven't heard of it but Swedish death-cleanse sounds like some ominous martial art move.

Are the Swedish particularly good at decluttering, I wonder?

Still, more time for sleeping is still good.

Happy very belated New Year!
Just a couple of weeks left till the due date. My house is clean and organized, but I don't think it's pregnancy related. It's more like I finally have time to do it now that I'm off work
