He gave it to me once... but said it so fast I couldn't quite catch it. I just nodded, since I was embarrassed about it - and he went on his way.

Say... You don't think Quickneam is behind it all, do you? Wanting to supPLANT the old slow guy???

Couldn't be! At least, I hope not.

But if this was all a ploy of his to claim our banner, surely he would have made sure we had his number?

Oh my - I thought I could trust Quickbeam. What if he really is the mastermind behind all this?

Hmm. Quickbeam always was a little too hasty. How do you explain the orc conversation I overheard?

Well, I think it's high time that we at least heard those ransom demands! I mean, geez, if they're trying to make a profit, they're not very good criminals...

In the meantime, we should probably try to round up whoever and whatever we can to help get Treebeard back... Mari's tiger (Mari has a tiger, right?) and Nauti's sea monster... Sane probably wouldn't hurt (us... I hope ). Does Earn have a chocolate-keeping force we could borrow? And her gecko? And where did Bunnicula go?

And have we CONSIDERED implicating that evil Santa guy that Tess was friends with a few years back?

*I really hope all that is right.. my 'Moot lore is a bit rusty*

There's a lot more of a problem here than would just be solved by RPG'ing it out, Val. I mean, we might have a revolution to start!

I've got some stomach tablets...

The plastic gecko is loaded and always ready for smiting.

I forgot all about him. Maybe we'll need to make a list of enemies who would stoop to such levels as to steal our ent.

It took us otherwise long enough to find them in the first place. If we're having to go on such a quest again to find Treebeard, that banner's gonna be emtpy for another few years!

Let's be on the one side where we don't have to explain to Ben that somebody stole his banner-ent from under our noses.

Well yeah, but it's not like this job pays enough (i.o.w. zip, nada, niente, niks & noppes) for me to enlist militias of people or even automotons...

Or shrubberies for that matter...

(I mean, seriously?)

I've never visited it, but I'm still not sure exactly why we have a Rocket-Propelled Grenade Forum on a Tolkien site- did this come from Saruman, or was it something Feanor cooked up back in the First Age?

Moved to RPG RPG.

Maybe we can get Treebeard back relatively peacefully* after all!

*And by "relatively peacefully" I mean fighting other bad guys, not amongst ourselves...

I think that should just about do it for shrubberies. When do we get the Big Guy back? I'm starting to miss him.
