You're right! Did anyone spot the LOTR-reference in Witches abroad? I still laugh my head of when I think of that.

really? I hadnt noticed that. Where?

My favourite ones are of course the death ones and his obsession with kittens!!! hee hee! I also like the Susan ones. I'm not that keen on Rincewind but i'm never bored with him. I also love the city watch ones especially Carpe Jugulum(i really can never spell that).

I'm currently nearly fimished Eric whic I am finding hilarious considering it's Rincewind.

That was it! So you've seen it too, Grim Squeaker! Love your screen name by the way. SQUEAK SQUEAK

That gollum-scene cracks me up everytime especially of the way they dispose of him! Whacked with an oar. Somehow I immediatly got a mental picture of that. Hilarious to say the least!

It's easily missed. It's only a few sentences. That's part of why it's so funny. Nothing else is said about it.

The convention is in England somewhere. Or so they claim in my newsletter. There's a convention every year, with signing sessions, competitions for character look-a-likes and such.

Oh a book singing! Lucky you! Never been to one. He's hasn't shown up here either. Except for one lousy day when I was away. Sniff. No signed book for me. But I heard he once said that an unsigned book of his is rarer than the signed ones! So I'll life.

Small gods!! That's one of my faves too! It's sooo good!

I’ve just started reading it; it looks to be about how a novice from some church became personally acquainted with his god, a small, rather worn out one-eyed turtle. And how the church hierarchy doesn’t like it, specially the “Quisition”.
