How do you pronounce Tomas?

Is it like Thomas? I've always pronounced it Toe MAZZ but I think that's wrong :P.

TOE-mahss. It's the Spanish version of Thomas.

I have never really thought about this. I always pronounced it "Thomas". I guess I´ve done so because of all the other English sounding names such as Pug or Martin.

i pronounce it thomas how do you pronounce lyam? i pronounce it lie-am but you could pronounce it liam....

I'm pretty sure this thread pre-dates google. LOL.

(edit: actually, no it doesn't. Google came earlier than I remember. )
