Adult Harry Potter Books

I've heard and seen Harry Potter books for Adults....what's the real difference between them and the ones for kids.

They're probably above the third-grade reading level of the kids books.

I do not know what you mean by "Adult Level", but I have read 'Barry Trotter and the Unauthorized Parody' and it was fairly adult. Pity to the kids who read it.

If you mean the ones which have different covers - that's all they have. There's nothing difficult about the content, as far as I know. It's so that adults don't feel embarassed reading them on the train

Yeah, it's just a marketing idea. Different covers. Apparently the idea sort of sells, too.

Also, in terms of shelving, the "adult" editions seem to end up on regular literature shelves in bookstores rather than a children's section. At least, the bookstores I've seen around here in Canada.
