o.k., o.k., I 'm gonna do this one over again, this time separating them in the 3 movie categories:

Fellowship of the Ring

1. Gandalf - Sir Ian McKellan - Don't care what anyone says, that old man is an artistic genius, and was an ideal Gandalf to me.
2. Strider/Aragorn - Viggo Mortensen - Perfect, just perfect Strider, except for when he hunted that deer and then never ate it or anything, that was utterly pointless but not the actor's fault I guess.
3. Boromir - Sean Bean

The Two Towers

1. Smeagol Gollum - Andy Serkis - I could go on and on, and on....
2. Galadriel - Cate Blanchett - yes, I like her sinister, trippy portrayal. Galadriel kinda seems like she sits on the fence, to me anyway. I like her interesting moral ambiguity.
3. Grima Wormtongue - Brad Dourif - it's all about the sort-of-bad guys in Two Towers! Dourif was an awesome Wormtongue.

Return of the King

1. Eowyn - Miranda Otto - Man oh man, I will never get tired of how she rips off that retarded helmet and says, " I am no Man!" and then does in Wikkie.
2. Shadowfax. Seriously, that horse is the bomb.
3. Samwise Gamgee - Sean Astin
