Who else could have sung "Into the West"?

Who else would you guys like to have seen sing Into the West on the LOTR soundtrack? I know, I know, I thought Annie Lennox did a great job too, but its just somethnig about her, that bugs me.

How about you? Who would you have liked to see sing on a LOTR soundtrack?

Mods is this an advertisement like the two we had a while ago?

Apologies to TenorCharm if you are indeed a genuine mooter.

After listening to Sarah Brightman's Classics, I think her rendition of Into the West would be very powerful. I'd like to hear it!

Ooh, Sarah Brightman has a great voice! I really like Annie Lenox's version though - what's your problem with Annie Lennox TenorCharm?

I think Tarja Turunen would have been brilliant as well.

Merc - I THINK this kinda stuff is OK.

Tenor - is Ronan Tynan also the one who sang at the Super Bowl a year ago. I think that was also the National Anthem, but I'm not sure. Young, slender fellow with dark hair. If so... he was very good.

Who else to sing: Well... the 'famed Norwegian vocalist, "Sissel" ' did a fine job at the LOTR symphony (did she sing it for the movies? - I don't even know).

This touching on fantasy... there's always Sinatra... or Elvis!

Sorry! We had "someone" post before that turned out to be just advertising. It was coincidently similar to your first post.

Welcome to the moot!

I think Ronan Tynan actually sang at one of the American League Championship Playoff games last year, not sure about that though...

Gollum

Annie Lennox should have sung "Into The West," and fortunately for us all, she did. Now, like Valandil was saying, if we could pick ANY fantasy singer,

hmmmm... Billie Holiday - can you imagine? That would have been BEAUtiful. Or Maria Callas...Or Freddie Mercury...
