Yeah, I'm such a lurker anymore. That's what a government promotion will do to you. I've thought recently that taking the promotion was a strategic error. More responsability + minor pay adjustment/increased workload = migranes.

Hey Wolfy! Honestly just WAITING and WAITING for summer. These NY winters are killing my paddling an swimming time. I live for kayaking and canoe-camping. My canoe was not made by Elves, Inc., but I like it.

Perhaps u can put runners on the canoes so that you can "paddle" in winter too.

I'm new here. I'm also a member of two tolkien forums. I love Hin Hurin best, followed closely by Aredhel second and Idril the third.

For second age, I love Tar-Mirel.

For the third, I like Eowyn and Faramir the best.

That said, I also hate some things. For exmple, when Sauron sliced Gorlim's neck, I just puked. Violence is unacceptable for me.

Secondly, when Morgoth stomped Fingolfin's body, I just screamed. When my mother asked me what is it, I said that I fell.

But the most horrible thing was when I read the CoH. I kindly threw the book across the room after finishing it and covered my head. I cried all night. I kept inwardly asking Morgoth what has he done. He always replied with laughter. I asked him how he dared to dirty Lalaith's trait. He only laughed harder. Can you believe it? He downright mocked Lalaith's trait through his evilness. Needless to say, I punched him. Hard.

And I woke up.

Hello all,
It's been such a long time since I posted here. I was busy with college and I kind of lost touch with my Tolkien-ian side for a while. I tried coming back one or two times during my college days but I couldn't keep it up.
Now I'm a grad. student; and if the life of a grad. student doesn't push you to get back in touch with your Tolkien side I don't know what will

I now wish to return full-time to your illustrious forum.
