Only just realized this thread was sort of old. Are you guys going to resurrect this RPG? If so, I would quite like to join in... it's not too far from the beginning, and I could jump in as Galadriel before Elrond gets around to contacting her for information from the East.

Haha... That's funny, just a bit. It's like your two characters are alive... but probably not, because that's quite a bit of time difference, and Baru isn't THAT old, is she?

Three or four thousand years time difference - I can look it up later. And Baru has only been around for three hundred years (not counting her five hundred years in Narnia). Rameldir was even later at getting a family than Elrond. But he left for the West three hundred years before LLL.

Earlier in the thread, EAR, if you didn't notice, RinkÃ« asks that you email a bio of your character to her, canon or created. Yours is canon, so lineage, age, family, maybe appearance? will be pretty obvious. Since she wasn't truly in the books, though, you could do what you wanted with some other stuff.

So... how on earth can I jump in sometime? I don't really want to interrupt what seems like a serious conversation, and I can't really introduce Galadriel without interrupting, seeing as how she's quite a ways away...

I thought I heard something about Elrond contacting her to talk? What?

Yes, Elrond said that he would need to talk to Galadriel. Whether he decides to talk to her by osanwe or to invite her over, I don't know - I suppose you can discuss it with RinkÃ« by PM if you like.
