Aragorn & the last boat of Lórien
In Two Towers, “The Departure of Boromir”, after they’ve buried Boromir near the end of the chapter, Aragorn, Legolas, and Gimli

The little cache was priceless. Not only was its value unassessable, but there were items belonging to people both living and dead that folks in Minas Tirith would want to keep. (How many mortals in Middle-earth could say they had an Elvish boat? or Elvish rope?) Did you ever wonder if Aragorn ever retrieved these things? Not personally, but surely he thought to send someone for them, to bring them to Minas Tirith? Last edited by Alcuin : 12-17-2015 at 07:23 PM. |
