A hilarious author. I constantly laughed out loud when reading Leave it to Psmith , I reccomend it to anyone looking for a good laugh. Then theres his Jeeves series I'm just starting on now. Hes quite a funny writer

The Jeeves stories are quite funny. I laughed out loud at some of the scenes too. But isn't the author's name Wodehouse? (not sure of the spelling)

Yeah, you're right it is Wodehouse. I just finished the Innimitable Jeeves, another funny book. Will they ever learn from their gambling mistakes

I never knew there was a P.G. Wodehouse thread! (albeit one from three years ago)

Wodehouse is my favourite comic writer. His use of language is just stunning. The Psmith books are the best IMO (minus all the cricket details) closely followed by Jeeves and Wooster

I absolutley love Jeeves!

And the short stories about him and Bertie and animals in a Wodehouse Bestiary are fabulous.

Its always pleasant to read how Jeeves saves Wooster from his latest mistake.

Mobil Masterpiece Theatre's adaptations titled "Jeeves and Wooster" are absolutely wonderful!!!!!!

Any Wodehouse fan must watch them

I agree...the Masterpiece Theatre versions are great! Haven't seen them in quite awhile though. Must check the library. Ours has a fairly good selection of such things.

Would one of the "moderators" be so kind as to change the title of this thread to "Wodehouse" rather than "Wodesmith"? It would indeed end any confusion that might have arisen. Thank you, sir.

Does anyone else wonder if the stars are God's daisy chain?

I have read two of Wodehouse's books, Right Ho, Jeeves! and the Girl in Blue. The second is skipable if you want to, but the first is essential. Take it from the Bassett!

The only problem is if it is midnight and you are reading the bit about the Owl who looks like Aunt Agatha, you will have to muffle your laughter because it will awaken your lil' sis in the next room and muffling laughter tickles.

I'm currently going through a Jeeves-Fest. I have taken out several of the books from the library. We have a pitifully stocked library in my town, and there are still about a dozen books there. Does anyone know how many Jeeves and Woosters were written?
