Where-a-bouts of the Rings

"Three for the elf-kings, underneath the sky,
Seven for the Dwarf-lords, in their halls of stone,
Nine for the mortal Men, doomed to die,
One for the Dark Lord, on his dark throne,"

This adds up to 20 rings total, we know where the Elven rings (Vilya, Narya and Nenya) are, and of course The Ruling Ring, so this leads to my question...
WHERE ARE THE DWARF RINGS???? I know it says that the hoards of gold founded on each of the rings was destroyed by dragon-fire, but were the actual rings destroyed too? Also, we assume that the Nazgul all are still in possession of their rings, but is that a fact?

I don't remember the exact number, but some is in Saurons hands, and some have been lost, and never found again.

It says in FotR, the Shadow of the Past:
Quote:
Seven the Dwarf-Rings possessed, but three he has recovered, and the others the dragons have consumed

Also - sorry I forget where Tolkien writes this, but Sauron actually holds the Nine Rings - they are not physically worn by the Nine Nazgul.

So he has all the rings save 7, the Ruling Ring, Vilya, Narya, Nenya, and the three dwarven rings? also, as a side step, why were only the Elven rings given names?

Well... I guess we don't know for sure that the others did NOT have names...

He had three of the dwarf Rings and 4 had been destroyed.
