Thief! milder! We hates it forever!!

Have a great time, Ben. I'll try to keep my jealousy under some semblance of control. Dang it, if only I had shorted Enron last month, I could have gone too.

New Line is hosting a benefit screening on the 13th with proceeds going to victims of 9/11. IIRC, tickets to the screening went for $250, or for $500 you could attend a post-screening party with the cast.

The New York tickets are being offered for $125 on a first-come, first-served basis off the official Web site for a limited time.

I will NOT be attending either of the premiers.

Bacchus is right. I have no clue what MM is saying. There is only one lotr premier in NY (other two are in London and Calf. I think), so what do you mean by you will not be attending either? Are you talking about the same thing? Selling tickets for $125 on the website?? You have to get invited...plus Bacchus is right and they are $250. So what are you talking about Michael Martinez? Maybe give us a link or something... Ben isn't going to the cast party, they sold out of those tickets.

And, trust me. They put the tickets up for sale at $125 on the official movie Web site earlier today. The offer was, as best I could tell, for a limited time (while supplies last!) but open to anyone. The announcement came through a New Line newsletter (not private email, although I had received private notification earlier in the week).

Here is the link:

http://www.lordoftherings.net/index_events.html

I make no guarantees about the availability of the offer at any time. This is New Line's deal.
