Benedict Cumberbatch is said to give Smaug a voice.

Hm, he's got an interesting voice but I'm not sure I can see a dragon in him. Nice twist though, to have the two Sherlock-characters up against one another when Bilbo speaks to Smaug.

But if he is to voice the Necromancer as well, then that role will have a speaking part and that suggests to me that the White Council vs. Necromancer scenes will be a substantial plot-line in the new movie.

I don't think Jackson will make that obvious a cameo. I'm guessing the guy in the middle will turn out to be Thorin.
