I disagree quite strongly, but must admit, you're rather brave to say that in the Star Wars forum!

I concur with Silverstripe; it was brave of you to say that here . So . . . what are your reasons for thinking Titanic is better? So far we've had only people who think Star Wars is better- I'll be very interested to hear from someone with a different point of view.

If you even allude to how telegenic Leonardo Dicaprio is, I'll blow a fuse.

Ok...after much thought I've thought of a plus for "Titanic"....

I admire films that give you a sneaking admiration for the villain, and after half an hour of watching "Titanic" I was cheering for the iceberg....

This is Hollywood remember- they'll resurect it if they think they can make enough money- you can just see Leo Dicaprio rising from the icy waters- *shivers with fear at the thought of having to endure more terrible acting* Mx

No, it'd probably be something like Rose's son or grandson, who HAPPENS to look just like Jack and some other girl who could easily beat Leonardo Dicaprio in a fight...in some other disaster; I don't know WHAT...Yuck.

Me, too, but it somehow started to get annoying after that.

Anyway Star Wars hasn't gotten annoying even after I watch it countless times.

Not boring, Varda, annoying. There's a difference. All three hour or longer movies, with the exception of LotR, become annoying if you watch them too often. But really, I though Titanic was ... okay, even though there were definitely things I didn't like about it.

I think an attempt at Titanic 2 would be just totally ... yuck, though.
