I think they will be better. I hope they will.

Re: Asondre Eborgava Donimasaltre

If I remember correctly, Maul got cut in half didn't he? But that doesn't necessarily mean he won't be back in the second film, the way I see it. I mean, Darth gets messed up pretty bad in his fight with Obi Wan and he's saved by futuristic technology. Perhaps Darth Maul will be resurrected as a machine-man as well, or maybe the Emperor will clone him.

On second thought, maybe I'm just prone to wishful thinking.

Re: Asondre Eborgava Donimasaltre

I think you probably are. Darth Maul might return, but I'm inclined to believe that if there was any life left in that body after it was sliced in two, it was snuffed out the instant he hit the bottom of that pit he fell down.

In that case the only other option is that Darth Sidious took a bit of his flesh before he died, and cloned him.

Re: Favorite SW Character

Yah, but that would be cheesy. I wonder if they do that, will they work it like the gholas in the Dune series where the memories of the gholas' original life could be awakend? Hmmmmm...... that might help.

Clones

Speaking of clones, does George Lucas plan to shed a little more light on the Clone Wars? I remember Wedge saying something about having known Anakin during the Clone Wars in "A New Hope".

Re: Favorite SW Character

Oh I'm sure he does. I think the Clone Wars will take place in Episode II. I don't know if they'll end during that one or during Episode III, but I know that they'll be involved in these upcoming films. Obi Wan said "I fought in the Clone Wars the same as your father." With a duo like that involved, I'm certain that they'll be important to how things happen in the upcoming Star Wars Episode.

Re: Favorite SW Character

That must be it! The Clone Wars will be fought against an army of Darth Maul clones!!!

Or worse yet, an army of clones of Jar Jar!!!!

Re: Favorite SW Character

Actually, rumors look like Yoda will be fighting the sith played by Lee, not Sidious

Reanimation

Yeah, actually I found a "favourite Star Wars character" thread. I have to bring it back to life, not that Episode II has been published (acutally almost a year ago).
So which is your favourite character?

From the old movies?
Luke and Leia

From the new ones
Amidala, Obi Wan and Anakin (okay, I like Hayden, not Anakin)

HAN SOLO ROX!!! I always liked him the best. Chewie is cool, too, of course!

Re: Favorite SW Character

I think my favorite is actually Qui-gon Jinn. He sort of reminds me of my grandfather, wise, but not at all averse to fun. (except my grandfather isn't a Jedi.) The other best, if they had a better actor, is Anakin/Vader. As Anikin, the tradgedy and turmoil in the character is amazing. It gave me chills in the movie. Imagine if they'd had a real actor!

My favorite character is Han Solo - he´s such a rogue..

I don´t have any faves in these new movies, actually I have seen only the first one and think that I won´t see the two last ones..

What's wrong with Hayden Christensen?
