One of our formal pictures. The funny thing is that we weren't actually being romantic. He was keeping the sun out of my eyes.

I wish my wedding dress had been more to my taste - I was just sick and tired of wedding preparations, and my mom loved the dress, so I got it mainly for her ...

but the main thing is to end up with the guy, not the dress! Anyway, congrats!

You'd never seen pics of me before? There are quite a few in this thread though. I'm 1.78m. *snort* Until my final two years in secondary school I was always the tallest in class. But then the guys started to catch up

that's what makes the best photos, i think..

and congrats midge, if i didn't already say that!

here are a couple of photos from the field season (i did some work as well, although i look very lazy on these photos.. ):

it's been a record summer; it hasn't been this warm during the time temperatures have been recorded (165 years). it's nice to be out in the archipelago then.

when my supervisor/professor came out with us to collect ants, she took us out to a beautiful island.. with none of the ants we are researching. she just wanted to show us how pretty it was (and she didn't feel like sitting in front of the computer when it was +30 degrees C outdoors).

the beauty itself. :P

and a couple of self-portraits:

hehe.. yeah, we'll see what happens with this hair. i can't stand it being long for very long.

i just got some photos from our wedding party/when s' family was visiting:

preparing for the road trip up north..

me, my co-sister-in-law and my mother-in-law.

my brother, me, my brother-in-law and my partner on a boat trip in the world heritage site..

welcoming everyone to the party/food.

my sister, mum and me in/by the sauna barrel at our wedding party. it was great.
