The Mandie series

I know these are childrens books,but I love childrens books.
Has anyone here ever read the Mandie books or at least heard of them?
A movie is suppose to be coming out this year.

Sorry, haven't heard of them. Who is the author? I like children's books, too, and would like to look for them in the library.

The author is Lios Gladys Leppard, she actually died last year

I'm on the 20 somthing in the mandie series, but there are still a lot more. And they've gotten really good, especially one of the last ones I read.

I saw the movie recently and I thought they did a pretty shabby job on it, I think they could've done a better job.

They are already making the 2nd Mandie movie I hope they do better on this one
