The Hobbit...can't remember how many times...my mom used to read it to me when I was a kid

LOTR...about 5-6...I've only ever finished it once or twice though (shame on me!!!)

The Silmarillion.... 4 times and am currently reading it for the 5th time (it's my favorite!)

HoME....I only have Morgoth's Ring and am reading sections of it at a time, when I'm in the mood

Unfinished Tales....once but I skipped around alot

It's really pretty hard to say how many times I've read things, because after you read them a few times, you can just pick them up and read a favorite section or two ... at least, I do it that way. But I think it's about time of a cover-to-cover read of LOTR again.

Ruinel, I highly recommend HOME 3 - the Lays of Beleriand. I am NOT a poetry person, but I fell in love with this one.

and to tempt you, Ru, a certain person of whom you're very fond is mentioned quite a bit ....

The odd little passage where Felagund and Beren went, calling themselves Nereb and Dungalef (looks closely at those names ), disguised as Orcs, before Thu (Sauron) to try to get the Sils. They are discovered when they can't blaspheme Manwe and Varda, and Thu:

...chanted a song of wizardry,
of piercing, opening, of treachery,
revealing, uncovering, betraying.
Then suddenly Felagund there swaying
sang in answer a song of staying,
resisting, battling against power,
of secrets kept, strength like a tower,
and trust unbroken, freedom, escape;
of changing and of shifting shape,
of snares eluded, broken traps,
the prison opening, the chain that snaps.

Backwards and forwards swayed their song.
Reeling and foundering, as ever more strong
Thu's chanting swelled, Felagund fought,
and all the magic and might he brought
of Elfinesse into his words.
Softly in the gloom they heard the birds
singing afar in Nargothrond,
the sighing of the sea beyond,
beyond the western world, on sand,
on sand of pearls in Elvenland....

Then when he saves Beren -

The slow time passed. Then in the gloom
two eyes there glowed. He saw his doom,
Beren, silent, as his bonds he strained
beyond his mortal might enchained.
Lo! sudden there was a rending sound
of chains that parted and unwound,
of meshes broken. Forth there leaped
upon the wolvish thing that crept
in shadow faithful Felagund,
careless of fang or venomed wound.
There in the dark they wrestled slow,
remorseless, snarling, to and fro,
teeth in flesh, gripe on throat,
fingers locked in shaggy coat,
sppurning Beren who there lying
heard the werewolf gasping, dying.
Then a voice he heard: 'Farewell!
On earth I need no longer dwell,
friend and comrade, Beren bold.
My heart is burst, my limbs are cold.
Here all my power I have spent
to break my bonds, and dreadful rent
of poisoned teeth is in my breast.
I now must go to my long rest
neath Timbrenting in timeless halls
where drink the Gods, where the light falls
upon the shining sea.' Thus died the king,
as elvish singers yet do sing.

And finally,

From Sirion's Isle they passed away,
but on the hill alone there lay
a green grave, and a stone was set,
and there there lie the white bones yet
of Finrod fair, Finarfin's son,
unless that land be changed and gone,
or foundered in unfathomed seas,
while Finrod walks beneath the trees
in Eldamar and comes no more
