I dont think a specific person can be a patronus. Or maybe it can...prongs is Hary's. But prongs is an animal. I think it cant be human.
There's two sections on entmoot: the works of JRR Tolkien and other (or something like that). All the Tolkien stuff is in the first. Other stuff is in other (duh)

Silly Orli. And silly Gulio, too. Does that make your mother a hamster and your father smelling like elderberries??

I think my Patronus would have to be an eagle or something really amazing. Or an elephant. For no reason. It would just be really impressive and huge, which kind of makes up for my size I guess.

HP and SW on a Tolkien Forum:
Well, Tolkien folks also seem to be partial to the Fantasy and Sci-Fi genres in books and film. Basically, we were tired of Harry Potter all over the rest of the board. (General Messages, Fantasy Lit. Entertainment, you-get-the-idea)
As far as I know, the SW forum has been here from the beginning, but I could definately be wrong on that...

I hope mine would be either an Arabian horse (as opposed to, say, a Clydesdale) or a small, swift falcon.

I have always been partial to the ocelot. I like the falcon idea, too.
