Id Harry were in charge of the Fellowship, they all would be dead in a matter of seconds. HOw do you expect him to find Mt. Doom and the way through the MInes of Moria if he can't even read a map of his schoool right and ends up being late fot transfiguration?

Only 151 more days till book 5 comes out!!

ok Gandalf faces HP and breaks his wand, HP is now powerless to do anything really bad. HP knows he is stuffed and reaches for his hehehe sword which gandalf shatters with a single swot from Glamdring. HP curses Godric saying he should have known to use metal instead of plastic, HP wets his pants and starts calling on others for support first he calls Hagrid. Gandalf thinks 2 can play at this game and summons Tulkas who ultimately destroys Hagrid. HP is getting nervous and dumbledore has the sense to flee but he sends his Phoenix... Gandalf calls Gwaihir who eats the phoenix. Hermione thinks herself King Dick and runs to HP's aid she turns on Gandalf glaring she says "how dare you go near HP just who do you think you are?" gandalf gets Gwaihir to swoop one more time and says "ive not passed through fire and death to bandy cricked words with a little tart now eat her Gwaihir" Ron runs over and Gimli beats him down. Gandalf has conquered Hogwarts. later on that day he lifts his staff in the air and destroys the whole Harry Potter wizarding world.

Millane looks around at the Harry Potter fans milling around wanting his blood then turns around "BRING IT ON PUSSIES"

nobody stress that nobody in harry potter could take on there LotR counterpart right down to Madam Rosmerta vs Barliman Butterbur... ohhh now that would be sweet to watch

No matter how powerful a human harry potter is, he's still a human. He could never compare to gandalf in power or wisdom. That's the long and short of it, folks.

Let me say to you that I don't have a problem with your likeing harry potter. Those books have been on my reading list for some time (the're around 40-50ish). But however much you like him, you've got to admit that Harry potter could never beat gandalf. That's just the way it is.
