Gandalf v. Harry Potter, who will win?

ok, now you've seen LOTR (before/after Harry Potter) who do you think is the real wizard? i mean, would you prefer an Old-fashioned (as i call it) wizard aka Gandalf or would you prefer 'You're-a-wizard-Harry' aka Harry Potter?

i know who i'd prefer (Gandalf, duh!

rumor has it ian mckellen will play dumbledore in place of richard harris. i think he would do a good job in that role.

Accualy, Micheal Gambon will be playing Dumbledore. He wa born in 1940 in Dublin, Ireland.

So he can smoute (what does that mean anyway?) the ruin of a Balrog on a mountain... but can he steal teenage hearts everywhere? I don't thins so!

Besides wands are soooo much cooler than staffs!

As far as I know, neither gandalf nor harry potter rely on sex appeal for their magical powers.

Yes, but! Gandalf wouldn't waste time running around trying to distract basalisks! he would just kill it to begin with! And Gandalf looks old and decrepid, so his enemies would underestamate him, but Harry thinks that he is all that... he would become cocky... AND DIE!!

ya but harry can move faster and doesnt have long hair that could get in his eyes, also he is smaller there for a smaller target to hit and he has a cool scar that will distract the enemy while he kills it and gandalf well hes just..... hes just ugly

Harry is young and a fool! Gandalf wears his hair in a ponytail... it won't get in his eyes. JK is always saying how Harry's hair is untidy and falls IN HIS EYES! Gandalf can put a little bubble around himself... he doesn't have to waste time doging things... and would not be a bigger target!

Personally I think Gandalf is hotter than Harry anytime!!!!

And I have read all the books multiple times! Gandalf saves the world, not the school... obvously more important! Ron was trapped behind a wall of solid rock! I think that is a good exuse for not saving someone!
