What happened to my post count?
I was an elven warrior...I had over 100 posts. I don't like being a Hobbit again.

My post count went down aswell, I was at 900 something, now I'm at 400 something

I seem to be at 800 something - I don't know what I was at, but several months ago I passed a thousand (without actually noticing until a couple of posts later).
So have we all lost a few hundred posts each?

Are you guys sure? I know I was somewhat over 8000 - so I don't seem to be affected.
I don't have a lot of experience with the finer points of the Admin Board, but I'll see what I can find out.

I remember celebrating Nicro passing a 100 and Varna passing 1000. Link definitely had more than 500.
EDIT: I have gone down 3000 posts as well.

I don't see anything wrong with mine, but I don't pay that much attention to it anymore so I reckon I could miss quite a few without even noticing.
It does seem strange. I can see shesabrandybuck has got a title (I think I may even have been the one to put it there) so she must have had over 500 posts at some point.

I looked through the functions on the Admin board. I only saw one thing that seemed to deal with "posts" - but it didn't really have much. At least nothing that I was able to use to figure this out.
Are all the ones affected from Europe? In the past we've had some crazy issues with European members having trouble getting on the site. It would seem strange to have this kind of an effect though... Ben and Hobbit and SGH seemed more familiar with the Admin Board (a lot more time in the saddle). I wonder if we could reach any of them.

This reminds a lot of a mods' prank in the past. Pair that with yesterday's date...
A couple of years ago, the mods amused themselves by making multiple copies of the Welcome thread in their admin forum (ie hidden to everyone else). Consequently, the mooters' post counts increased with a multiplier depending on how many posts they had made in that thread. A similar thing seems to be going on now, but with a multiplied decrease in posts rather than an increase. Mods, am I a party pooper?
