Deleting your account

I'm not sure how to delete my account, and I checked the FAQ/other threads here but couldn't find anything. Anyone know what I need to do?

Only the administrators can delete an account. But they're reluctant to do so unless you have a good reason.

Indeed, we generally only delete spamaccounts. May I ask why you want your account deleted?

Privacy, and the fact that it's literally been four years since I've used this account. It just feels kind of odd leaving something like this hanging around when I've never used it.

Doesn't seem very worthwhile to go through the trouble of having it deleted when you've got only three earlier posts. But, since you do have only a couple of posts, I reckon I could delete your account without disrupting too many things if you really prefer it so.

Hey, give us a bit of credit. We don't go deleting accounts randomly. We almost never do it except to spammers.

Even if you miss-behave terribly and you get banned from the forum because of that, your account will not deleted.
