Well at least you're not almost 14 and 5'2" like I am! I think it would be a million times better to be tall than short, like me. (Doesn't that show you; the grass is always greener on the other side of the fence!)

That poster makes me sick (throwing up noises). But on a lighter note I sure would like to be 5'8". I'm 17 and only 5'6.5" but I suppose I can't complain too much cause I am taller than my dad, Yay.

That was such a dumb ad..."one burger to rule them all..." how cheap can you get???

I wonder if I'm the shortest person on this board?? (That would be very depressing...) Anyone 5' 2" or shorter?? Anyone??

I do believe there is an Ent who is not altogether Ent sized. As he has not visited this forum in weeks, I can exclusively reveal that his name is ... *cough, cough, Ben, cough, cough*, ooh, sorry about that, terrible cold, rather unfortunate *cough, cough, more like a HOBBIT, cough, cough*. I gotta work on that *wink, wink, elbow nudge*

I read an article in the newspaper a few days ago, talking about this. Apparently, if there is any action-figure merchandise created, it will be at least half-decent. Because LOTR has such a big following, they have to at least try and make the merchandise appeal to the fans -- so it can't just be stupid and shiny.

Personally, I agree with that.

Gimli

I walked in to a BK three days ago and I saw *finally* on those paper things on the tray a lotr thingie. They have a contest called "Search for the castle" contest where you go online and answer a question of something to win a prize. Kinda lame..

Oh by the way... I'm 5'7 and I'm 13 turning 14 in three months.

I'd buy the Happy Meals or whatever, although McD is nasty.

I saw a Frodo action figure about 2 weeks ago at the electronics store in our mall...It wasn't really very good. And it came with a person-sized 'One Ring.' That kinda disgusted me...I'm not sure why...

I'll be 16 on Saturday...I'm 5'8" now.

Fireworks, do you mean as big as a normal person or a ring as big as the action figure??

Burger king is selling "light up glass goblets." I saw the ad driving past in a couple of days ago. That's just weird.

It was human being sized, like it would fit my finger...

I had a feeling LOTR would get commericalized to this point. I'm not sure I approve.

Toys at last

We just got our first Burger King toys: Legolas, Arwen, Merry, Frodo, and an Uruk-hui. The Arwen doesn't light up reliably, but they're nice. The counter people didn't know the difference between Merry and Frodo and told us they were the same, so we didn't get two of them. We intend to get a whole set.

I'm soooo sorry Darth Tater if I messed up your perfect LOTR forum, but I still would like to know what makes the Burger King cups light up and what do you have to buy to get one?
