Legolas: Lembas! Elvish waybread; one small bite of this is enough to fill the stomach of a grown man!
(Legolas leaves)
Merry: How many did you eat?
Pippin: Four.

i honestly would have hit pip on the head! I would tell him
"You idiot! Why eat them all now?! We should save them for later! You never know how much food we'll have!"

That's exactly why Pippin ate as much as he could immediately. I know because my kids and cats are exactly the same!

I also like the part in the beggining where frodo and sam are walking along and merry and pip knock them over

Pip:Look Merry it's Frodo. Frodo Baggins
Sam:Get off him. You've been into farmer maggot's crops!
Pip:Here hold these(Leaves with frodo and merry as farmer maggot yells in distance. sam drops the stuff and runs)
(forgot what they said but i remember that merry and pip talking and saying he was overreacting)
Pip:Still he's overreacting
(Everyone stops at the edge of the hill and sam comes running and knocks 'em off)
Sam:Trust a brandybuck and a took!
Merry:What? That was only a detoir. A shortcut.
Sam:to what?
Pip:Mushrooms!
Frodo: we'd better get off the road.Get off the road!

I REMEBER WHAT IT WAS I FORGOT! IT WAS THIS....

Eowyn:Off to the smitty's go!
Eomer:You should not encourage him
Eowyn:You should not doubt him. Why should he be left behind? He has the same right to go to war as you. Why can he not fight for the ones he loves?
Eomer:I do not doubt his heart. Only the reach of his arm.

I'll have to agree with Star on that one.
The line by Gandalf is hands down my favorite quote in the movie.

I don't know if anybody said these yet, but:

Sam: I can't carry it for you, BUT I CAN CARRY YOU! COME ON!

Sam: If ever were I to marry someone...it would've been her...it would've been her.

I cry at those parts every single time. Even when I seriously don't want to.

Sean Astin just kicks all sorts of ass.

I don't remember in accurate detail how, exactly, this was portrayed in the film (and who cares -- the thread is two years old), but as it was ultimately my dear friend Smeagol -- murdering (expletive deleted) that he was --who saved the entire production -- I'm surprised not to see this exchange mentioned here somewhere:

What a pity that Bilbo did not stab that vile creature [Frodo declares] when he had a chance!"

"Pity? [Gandalf replies] It was Pity that stayed his hand. Pity, and Mercy: not to strike without need. And he has been well rewarded, Frodo. Be sure that [Bilbo] took so little hurt from the evil, and escaped in the end, because he began his ownership of the Ring so. With Pity."

"I am sorry" said Frodo. "But I am frightened; and I do not feel any pity for Gollum."

"You have not seen him," Gandalf broke in.

"No, and I don’t want to," said Frodo. ". . . Now at any rate he is as bad as an Orc, and just an enemy. He deserves death."

"Deserves it! I daresay he does. Many that live deserve death. And some that die deserve life. Can you give it to them? Then do not be too eager to deal out death in judgement. For even the very wise cannot see all ends. I have not much hope that Gollum can be cured before he dies, but there is a chance of it. And he is bound up with the fate of the Ring. My heart tells me that he has some part to play yet, or good or Ill, before the end; and when that comes, the pity of Bilbo may rule the fate of many -- yours not least."

Probably Saruman's speech in the RotK extended edition. His voice is so awesome. Either that, Galadriel's opening words to FotR, or Theoden's dying words.

It's gotta be that classic line:
"Let's go hunt some orc!"
at the end of FOTR, Aragorn. I couldn't stop laughing.

I also like Sam's quote:

Sam:
I know. It's all wrong. By rights we shouldn't even be here. But we are. It's like in the great stories, Mr. Frodo, the ones that really mattered. Full of darkness and danger they were. And sometimes you didn't want to know the end, because how could the end be happy? How could the world go back to the way it was when so much bad had happened? But in the end, it's only a passing thing, this shadow. Even darkness must pass. A new day will come. And when the sun shines, it'll shine out the clearer. Those were the stories that stayed with you, that meant something, even if you were too small to understand why. But I think, Mr. Frodo, I do understand, I know now.
Folk in those stories had lots of chances of turnin' back, only they didn't. They kept goin', because they were holdin' on to somethin'.

Frodo:
What are we holding onto, Sam?

Sam:
That there's some good in this world, Mr. Frodo, and it's worth fightin' for.
