Six was the highest. "Legendary" was the description, and that was the rating that Sauron and Morgoth got. Feanor, now that I have checked, finished as a five, "undisputed master."

No way. He's not even in the same league as Sauron. He didn't will the destruction of Middle Earth, nor did he desire to enforce his rule upon the Free Peoples of ME; okay so he was a selfish prick, but c'mon we're talking the Silmarils here - something even the Valar didn't accomplish. What were the other ratings? I'd think he's suit a 3, or a 4 better.

No, that was why he ended up a full Level below Sauron (and Morgoth!) The ratings were (tip o' the casque to Afro-Elf!):

1--Basic training
2--Professional competency
3--Outstanding skill
4--Superior
5--Undisputed master
6--Legendary

I think that someone who was responsible for the Kinslaying and the stranding of Fingolfin's host deserves better than a "superior."
