Well... first you'll need a picture. But let's take this to "The Avatar Shop II" thread. I'll say just a little - there are a couple dozen regulars around here who can be more helpful to you.

I've just realized I've been absent from this forum for longer than I'd intended, and will probablly not be around much this summer, either. I fly home May 12th, and don't have reliable internet again until September. If you're a deviantart member, you can always leave me a message on my page...the link is in my sig.

Hello, Lotesse!
(I use that name on a couple other forums...it's strange to see another with it.)
I hope you enjoy your time here on the moot.

I guess it's pretty much safe to talk about at this point; enough time's gone by... basic gangbanging crap, in L.A. the list of things that fall under general g-bangin is fairly lenghthy, but I never slang drugs (just used massive amounts of them-when you're bangin like I was, dope is all around you at wholesale prices), never ho'd or condoned ho'ing and I never hurt anybody (physically) that didn't deserve it. My beautiful but equally loca best friend finally caught enough cases to get herself a couple of years in prison - she's only 22 years old! - and at that point, with everything else crashing down around me, I decided to pull out of the game. That's all I'm gonna say on this topic;(not yet tho ) it feels safe enough speaking about these things to online buddies whom I will more than likely never meet; and of course that's not my actual birthday or even real name on my e-mail... I gotta stay on point.
Now, while I wait for money to come in to cover my astronomical lawyer's fees and clean up the mess I made with my 20's, I spend my time OFF the streets of Westside L.A. and Hollywood. Instead, I stay away from all my old homies (moved to the beach) and read books, and hone up on my sketching skills, and write a letter every day to my homegirl, and have vicious mental fights with my writer's block demon who won't let me write my screenplay, and moot here. *phew.*

That answer your question, Butterbeer?

Oh,and any kids out there, know this - gangbanging IS NOT COOL!!! You will lose your best friends, get jacked, have friends die on you, possibly lose your freedom, probably become a junkie, and definitely ruin the best years of your life. F- it. The game is not all it's cracked up to be, what you hear in music and see in movies; it's a hard, fast, senseless, cruel and infinitely sorrowful way to live, and I'm very, very fortunate to still have my freedom (knock on wood) and have enough inner strength to give up the dope.
So - there. That's my disclaimer.

O.k., o.k., I'm over it. I've got a bad temper, can tend to get a bit vitriolic from time to time...

That was pretty heavy Lotesse! I'm glad you got your ship righted and are sailing with fair winds these days.

Lotesse: yup certainly answers my question, cheers:
i was thinking it was some sort of street theatre or peformance or something!

suppose it is (was) in a way: just a bit more ...er ... real.

You made me laugh with your reaction to Spock (ahem been there done that ... )

Spock's alright man: he's cool: he just takes a bit of getting use to how he posts: so that you see it in the right spirit when you've got the style or thought patterns in tune a bit with the wave-length etc ... Spock is quite individualistic in his manner and i say all the better for that y'know?

Hey guys! I got back from my trip and it was good times. But I should go away from Entmoot for a while and actually get some work done. A new class is starting, and work awaits! Then I'm going to travel for a while.

I actually might be gone for quite a long time. But knowing me, I'll pop in now and then.

Sorry Hector, I wanted to help with the Hall of Fame project. And Lyrd is awesome, there are a lot of fine writers there so no worries Grey Wolf!

I will still do my chapters in the book project though. (And I'll probably come back to post in the discussions of others' chapters too. Just can't keep away from the Tolkien. No... must... work... Now you see my dilemma.) I definitely will do my chapters though.

Cheerio Mooters!
~Nurv

EDIT: Hm... this isn't working out that well...
